Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. flour
    3 c. chopped apples, peeled
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine oil and sugar.
    Add well beaten eggs and vanilla. Measure and sift together flour, salt and soda.
    Add dry ingredients to first mixture.
    Stir in apples and nuts; mix thoroughly with spoon.
    Pour into tube pan and bake in a 300\u00b0 oven until done, about 1 1/4 hours.
