Potato Circle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 lb. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced (5 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease a skillet with 3 tablespoons butter.
    Use a tight fitting cover for skillet.
    Toss potatoes with salt and pepper.
    Layer 1/3 of potato slices in a circle around bottom and sides of skillet.
    Dot with butter.
    Repeat 2 more times.
    Over high heat, cook potatoes 3 minutes; then bake, covered, 30 minutes.
    Place foil under skillet to catch overflow. Remove cover; bake 5 minutes longer.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Invert on a serving dish.
