Orange Slice Candy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 lb. orange slice candy, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
4 eggs
1 lb. dates, chopped
2 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, flour and milk.
Add nuts, coconut, dates and candy.
Beat well.
Bake 2 hours at 250\u00b0 in tube pan.
