Pumpkin Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pumpkin
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. milk
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cream
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Mix all other ingredients together.
    Add beaten egg whites last.
    Bake in unbaked pie shell at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake until knife is clean when tested.
