Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter; add sugar, add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour which has been stirred with salt and soda added. Stir in pecans.
    Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 about 12 to 15 minutes.
    Remove immediately from cookie sheet to cool on rack.
