Mock Red Raspberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. ground green tomatoes
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry jello
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Put tomatoes through grinder and measure 2 cups.
    Place in large pan.
    Combine with sugar.
    Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
    Reduce heat, continue cooking 10 more minutes. Remove from heat; stir in jello and lemon juice until dissolved. Pour into jars; cover and cool.
    Store in refrigerator or freezer. Makes about 6 jars.
    Real good! Don't tell it's green tomatoes!
