Granny Cord'S Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
flour

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl of flour as you would to make biscuits.
Roll out on a board and cut with a round cookie cutter.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
