Turkey Bone Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    turkey bones
    water
    1/2 c. bacon drippings or oil
    1 c. flour
    2 onions, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 qt. turkey broth
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. dried basil
    Tabasco sauce
    2 bay leaves
    2 c. chopped turkey
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in bite size pieces
Preparation
    After turkey has been carved, put bones in plenty of water. Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours until meat falls off bones.
    Make a roux of bacon drippings and flour.
    Add onions, garlic, bell pepper and celery.
    Cook until wilted.
