1 c. coarsely chopped dried figs
1/4 c. water
1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 to 2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. grated carrots
2 c. raisins
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Combine figs and water in a blender or food processor. Puree.
Set aside.
