Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly the butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Sift together and stir in flour and salt.
    Mix in nuts. Chill dough; roll into 1-inch balls.
    Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake until set, but not brown.
    While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Cool; roll in sugar again.
    Makes about 4 dozen 1 1/2-inch cookies.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
