Homestead Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (10 oz.) bag frozen green beans
    1 (10 oz.) bag mixed vegetables
    1 (17 oz.) can red kidney beans
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. onion rings
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix green beans and mixed vegetables together; cook and cool. Rinse and drain kidney beans.
    Mix sugar, flour, prepared mustard and vinegar together.
    Cook until thick; cool.
    Stir vegetables into cooled thickened mixture.
    Refrigerate for 4 hours.
