Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. flour
1 (14 oz.) can asparagus (reserve liquid)
1 (10 oz.) can asparagus (reserve liquid)
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. grated cheese
5 hard-boiled eggs
20 saltine crackers, crushed
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter 7 x 5 x 3-inch casserole dish. Melt margarine; add flour to make a thick paste.
Add liquid from both cans of asparagus; add milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick.
Stir in grated cheese.
Add asparagus and stir until asparagus comes to pieces.
Add chopped boiled eggs. Pour into casserole dish and cover with cracker crumbs.
Bake until crumbs are brown or about 20 minutes.
