Easy Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) fryer, cut up
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium clove garlic
    1 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 or 2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown chicken in olive oil with garlic.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano.
    Add mushrooms while browning.
    Add tomatoes. Cover and cook until chicken is tender.
    Serve over spaghetti or rice.
