Spiced Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
4 Tbsp. water
1 egg, beaten
4 oz. cranberries
4 oz. chopped nuts
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add the orange juice, water, butter and egg; mix until well blended.
Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Grease and line with wax paper a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Spoon in mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Remove from pan; peel off the paper and dust with powdered sugar. Slice and serve warm or cold with butter or cream cheese.
