Texas Slab Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. Crisco
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preparation

Combine water, Crisco and butter in pan; bring to a boil. Pour over sugar and flour. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, vanilla and salt. Bake in jelly roll pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
