Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. self-rising meal
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs, beaten well
1 can cream-style corn (approximately 1 c.)
2 c. sweet milk or cream
1 small can pimento
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. chopped bell pepper
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. grated sharp cheese
1 small hot pepper, chopped (or to taste)
Preparation

Mix well as listed.
Pour into a well-greased cookie sheet or pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 375\u00b0 until golden brown and firm in middle (30 to 45 minutes).
Test with toothpick.
