Garden Patch Creamed Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 ears white corn, husked and washed
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 to 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Cut kernels from cob, saving all juice.
    Place kernels and juice in a large bowl.
    With the dull side of the knife, scrape each cob over the bowl to release all the milky juice.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except bacon drippings, mixing well.
