Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening.
    Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.
    (I mix this in a cup with a little more water.)
    Add to buttermilk.
    Mix liquid ingredients to dry ingredients.
    Place on floured board and knead.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brown enough for you.
    Put leftover dough in covered bowl or plastic bag and refrigerate.
    Will keep 2 weeks.
    (I prefer to use dough within a week.)
