Apricots And Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken cutlets
2 onions, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 1/2 c. water
2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 cardamom seeds, crushed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. saffron
4 to 8 apricot halves
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until golden.
Add chicken, garlic, ginger, water, tomatoes, cinnamon, cardamom and salt.
Cover; cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
Add saffron; cook an additional 5 minutes.
Serve garnished with warm apricot halves.
Serves 4.
