Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    4 or 5 green onions, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 small pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
    mayonnaise
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
    4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    black olives, chopped or diced to taste
    2 large tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Layer vegetables in order given and spread mayonnaise over top.
    Cover and let set 6 hours in refrigerator.
    Before serving, pour one small bottle Italian dressing over salad, then top with:
