New-Fashioned Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Mazola margarine
    1 1/4 c. light cream or half and half, divided
    8 oz. Mueller's fettuccine, cooked and drained
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
    dash of salt
Preparation
    In large skillet, melt margarine over medium heat; stir in 3/4 cup light cream.
    Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add fettuccine to skillet.
    Stir in remaining 1/2 cup cream, cheese, pepper, nutmeg and salt; cook 1 minute.
    If desired, serve with additional cheese and pepper.
    Makes 4 servings.
