Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash (more if needed)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped pimento
    1/2 c. grated cheese (sharp)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick oleo
    1/2 c. bread crumbs, dried
    3/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash in salted water until tender.
    Mash squash and drain.
    Add other ingredients.
    Pour into buttered baking dish and top with bread crumbs and 3/4 cup grated cheese.
    Dot with butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
