Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1 small onion, diced
    1 jalapeno pepper, diced
    salt and pepper
    12 slices American cheese
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 to 3 large floured tortilla (soft) shells
Preparation
    Brown hamburger, onion and jalapeno pepper.
    Add tomatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes.
    Add the American cheese until melted. Stir together while cooking.
    Place 1 large tortilla shell on bottom of casserole dish.
    Layer with hamburger mixture.
    Continue with another tortilla shell and hamburger mixture.
    Spread Cheddar cheese on top layer.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
