Harvest Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can drained small beets
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and vinegar in this order in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over prepared beets in a saucepan and let stand on back of stove for 30 minutes.
    Put on low heat just before serving.
    Add butter.
