Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. plus 6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar and cream again.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and mix thoroughly.
Pour into greased, wax paper lined tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done.
Frost with favorite frosting or serve plain with scoop of ice cream.
