Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lentils
    1/4 c. rice
    6 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    pepper
    1 finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or oil
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Boil lentils and rice in water.
    When starts boiling, reduce heat.
    Cover and let cook for 1 1/2 hours.
    Then blend in blender; return to heat.
    Add salt, pepper and cumin.
    Fry onion in oil separate, until golden brown, then add to lentil.
    Cook for 10 minutes together.
    Garnish with parsley.
    Eat it warm.
    Makes enough for 4 people.
