Cloppino(Chi Pee No) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1 carrot, shredded
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cans tomatoes (1 lb. each)
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. halibut
    1 doz. mussels and/or clams (in the shell)
    8 oz. shrimp
    1 1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 lb. scallops
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
Preparation
    Saute all veggies and garlic in oil.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
    Bring to boil, reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
