Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour (must be self-rising)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 can or bottle of beer (any type)
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    Mix ingredients in bowl until smooth.
    Place into prepared bread pan.
    Bake for 1-1/2 hours. This is a heavy bread and is like sour dough bread.
    The beer is used for yeast.
    Yield:
    1 loaf.
