Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mushrooms (medium)
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. green onions
    1/4 c. sherry or white wine
    1 c. herb seasoned stuffing
Preparation
    Wash mushrooms and remove stems.
    Dip the mushrooms in melted butter and place upside-down in shallow baking pan.
    Chop enough of remaining stems to make 1/4 cup and saute them with the onions in the remaining butter.
    You may add more butter, if necessary. Add the sherry or white wine and lightly stir in the stuffing. Spoon this mixture into the mushroom caps and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until hot, about 10 minutes.
    Makes about 18 hors d'oeuvres.
