Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. head cabbage
    1 large green pepper
    2 medium onions
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Shred cabbage, onions and pepper. Blend in 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Toss together. Let stand while you cook the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture slowly. Stir until all is coated. Let cool, then cover and refrigerate.
