Norwegian Apple Cake(Norway) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    2 c. diced apples (about 3 medium)
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat eggs well, one at a time.
    Sift together sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add sifted ingredients and vanilla.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes in a well-greased 9-inch pie plate or cake pan.
    May be topped with Cool Whip.
