Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 c.) crushed pineapple
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    pastry
Preparation
    Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry.
    Combine pineapple, cornstarch, sugar and salt and cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly.
    Add lemon juice and butter.
    Cool slightly. Pour into pastry-lined pan.
    Weave pastry strips across top.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes (if using unsweetened pineapple, increase sugar by 2 tablespoons).
