Turnip Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded turnips
    1/4 c. sweet red peppers, chopped or carrot (may be added for color)
    1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions (if desired)
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine ingredients for dressing and mix well.
    Pour over the vegetables; toss to coat.
    Refrigerate for several hours for best flavor.
    Serves 4 to 6.
