Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cling peach halves
    1 tsp. each: whole cloves and allspice
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Empty can of peach halves, syrup and all, into a saucepan.
    Add cloves and allspice.
    Then add brown sugar and vinegar.
    Boil until the sugar dissolves.
    Then simmer about 8 minutes.
    Cool in the syrup.
    (You may want to add less vinegar; suit to taste.)
