Hot Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    rind of 1 lemon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Slowly add boiling water.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Serve hot over pound cake or gingerbread.
