Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. hot milk
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cool milk to lukewarm.
Add yeast and let stand until soft. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy.
Add beaten egg and then yeast mixture.
Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
Place in greased bowl and let rise 1 hour.
Divide dough into 2 balls.
Turn on lightly floured board.
Roll dough 1/4-inch thick.
Cut into rounds with biscuit cutter.
Melt 1/3 cup butter.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Dip each round in butter and then sugar.
Stand each biscuit up in tube pan until full.
Let rise until double in size.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
