Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup cornmeal mix
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can cream style corn
1 can green chilies
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
1 lb. ground beef
1-1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
Black olives, sliced
Preparation

Brown hamburger with onions.
Drain and mix in taco seasoning mix.
Let simmer.
Mix cornmeal mix, eggs, milk, corn, green chilies and black olives.
Pour half of the batter into an iron skillet.
Add meat and sprinkle on cheese.\tPour the remaining batter over the meat and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr. and 20 minutes.
