Victory Garden Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can lima beans
    1 lb. potatoes, sliced
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    3 c. shredded Cheddar
    1/2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced
    1/2 lb. green beans, sliced, or canned
    10 oz. fresh or frozen peas
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. unsifted flour
    3/4 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Lightly grease a 3 or 4-quart casserole.
    Drain all canned vegetables or, if using fresh, pre-cook until almost tender.
