Black Forest Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Prepare and bake cake according to package directions for 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Drain cherries, reserving 2 tablespoons juice.
    Sprinkle over 1 cake layer.
    Spread with pie filling.
    Place remaining layer on top.
    Spread whipping cream over top and sides.
    Decorate with cherries.
