Yorkshire Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. flour (1/2 c.)
    pinch of salt
    8 oz. milk (1/4 c.)
1 egg (use 2 eggs for a richer batter)
Preparation
Pour flour and salt in mixing bowl.
Add egg and mix well. Gradually beat in enough milk to make stiff, smooth batter (no lumps).
Allow to stand for a few minutes, then gradually beat in the rest of the liquid.
This mixture can be allowed to stand some time in cool place before baking.
Before baking, give one final beat.
Pour batter in baking pan, heated with oil or grease from roast.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes, until brown on top and serve with roast beef gravy.
This is similar to popovers and is delicious.
