Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter, margarine or shortening
    2 cakes yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    4 to 5 c. flour
    extra butter or shortening
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Pour into a large mixing bowl.
    Add the sugar, salt and butter; let cool.
    Crumble the yeast and add water to soften.
    Add to the lukewarm milk mixture.
    Add 1/2 the flour and beat until smooth.
    Add enough of the remaining flour to form a stiff dough.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes after shaping in balls.
    Makes 36 rolls.
