Chili(Firefighters Like It Hot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans cooked tomatoes
    16 oz. can tomato paste
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. elbow spaghetti (optional), cooked
    jalapeno (for your fire)
Preparation
    In large heavy skillet, cook meat, onions and pepper until meat is brown and vegetables tender.
    Drain kidney beans, reserve liquid.
    Add beans and other ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Add bean liquid for right consistency, then add spaghetti and cook.
    Serves 10.
