Fettuccini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. uncooked fettuccini noodles
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook and drain noodles according to package instructions; drain. Heat butter and whipping cream in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until butter is melted and mixture starts to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper. Pour sauce over noodles. Toss until well coated.
