Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    4 c. peeled, sliced fresh peaches
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and nutmeg in 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in peaches and lemon juice.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
