Genevieve'S Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. hot milk mixed with 1/2 cube margarine
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl add ingredients in the order listed.
    Be sure to mix continually with a mixer and then quickly place in ungreased oblong pan and bake for 45 minutes. The bubbles in the batter are important to make a spongy cake.
    Ice with Caramel Coconut Frosting if desired.
