Royal Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Simmer raisins in 2 cups water for 15 minutes.
    Make paste of cornstarch, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons cold water.
    Add paste mixture to raisins and heat until thick.
    Remove from heat; add butter and lemon juice.
    Mix well.
    Serve over ham, pork, ham loaf or gingerbread.
