Molasses-Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream molasses, sugar and shortening until smooth.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add raisins and nuts; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients, sifted.
    Add oatmeal and mix well.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Spoon onto cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Yields 3 dozen cookies.
