Mama'S Pork Chop Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 12 pork steaks or chops
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 to 3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Brown meat in heavy skillet.
    Add 1/2 cup water and sliced onion.
    Cover and simmer until meat is tender, approximately 50 minutes.
    Drain off excess fat and additional water.
