Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sweet milk
2 Tbsp. (rounded) flour
juice of 1 lemon
grated rind of 1/2 lemon
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add beaten egg yolks, flour, lemon and milk.
Beat egg whites very stiff; add last, folding in.
Put in casserole.
Set in a pan of hot water.
Bake for 45 minutes in a slow (350\u00b0) oven.
Forms custard below and solid on top.
