Reuben Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. medium noodles
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans celery, mushroom or chicken soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
3 1/2 c. cooked chicken, 1 lb. Polish sausage, cut into bite size pieces, or 1 lb. ham, cut into cubes
2 (16 oz.) cans sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
Preparation

Cook noodles in boiling water for 4 minutes; drain and set aside.
In large bowl, combine soup, milk, onion, mustard and caraway seed.
Gently stir in chosen meat, drained sauerkraut and partially cooked noodles.
Put into greased 3-quart baking dish. Top with cheese.
In small bowl, combine bread crumbs, melted butter and garlic powder.
Sprinkle over mixture in baking dish. Bake, uncovered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until heated through.
